Wimbledon quarter-finalist Nick Kyrgios is charged with assault
The 27 year old’s former girlfriend Chiara Passari is reported to be the victim of the alleged assault, which is said to have taken place last year, according to The Canberra Times.
The tennis ace faces the possibility of spending up to two years in jail if found guilty of the alleged assault, which reportedly saw him grab his ex partner. Nick’s barrister Jason Moffett has said that his client is aware of the charge and is taking the accusation “very seriously”."The nature of the allegation is serious, and Mr Kyrgios takes the allegation very seriously.
