The Leeds United forward has handed in a transfer request and wants to leave the club
Wilfried Gnonto's agent Claudio Vigorelli has hit out at Leeds United for blocking transfer approaches for the young Italian from the Premier League. Everton have had a number of bids rejected by the Whites, with the 19-year-old keen on returning to the English top flight.
Leeds United said Gnonto's refusal to play was an internal disciplinary matter and they wouldn't comment on his absence further, but that was prior to him handing in a request to leave. The Whites have reiterated the youngster isn't for sale, having rejected bids in the region of £25million. He goes on to play down speculation linking Gnonto with a move back to Inter Milan, who were reportedly keen on the forward earlier this summer. Vigorelli goes one further to rule out a return to the Serie A all together with Gnonto's main aim to return to the Premier League.
