Who Was Alexander 'AJ' Jennings From Outer Banks Season 3, Episode 9 Tribute?
by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, AJ was hit by a vehicle as he was walking around 2:30 am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The vehicle fled, and then he was struck again by another vehicle, which left the scene but was later found during a traffic stop by police in downtown Charleston.
Kimmie Stewart Casting announced AJ's death in an Instagram post that drew support and comments from viewers of the show as well as cast members like Chase, who plays John B on the series. The devastating announcement described AJ as "a beautiful, kind soul & a bright light every day on set." The statement also revealed that the streaming service brought in grief counselors to assist the cast and crew. "We will miss this amazing human and his infectious smile dearly.
