⚠️ The Met Office has warned that 'Santa will have to dodge some thunderstorms and hail as he delivers our presents, but we’re sure he’s up to the task' ☃️ White Christmas forecast for parts of Scotland
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for snow and ice in parts of northern and western Scotland from 9pm on Christmas Day until 6pm on Boxing Day.
The warning covers Aberdeenshire, Moray, Perth and Kinross, Stirling, Argyll and Bute, West Dunbartonshire and the Highlands. However, there will be unsettled conditions overnight leading into the big day as millions make journeys home. “Most of us are staying above freezing, but perhaps an isolated frost across the really sheltered spots of Teeside and the Scottish glens as well.”
