Whataburger may be opening a new location in the rapidly expanding Elyson area of Katy. The popular fast food chain on recently registered a project with theThe 3,305-square-foot restaurant features a dine-in area and drive-thru, according to the TDLR.Construction on the $2.7 million project is expected to begin in September and be completed in March of 2024, though details are subject to change.
