Today is the first official day of Wimbledon 2023, and for the next fortnight one of the biggest competitions in tennis will see people flocking to London’s SW19 to watch the sport.

It might be all about the tennis, but Wimbledon watchers never miss an opportunity to show off their best courtside looks, with Wimbledon offering some of the most underrated street style of the fashion calendar. Although it doesn’t have an official dress code, it’s expected that you’ll turn up looking smart and chic, and although it’s only the competitors who have to wear tennis whites, plenty of the guests tend to mimic the tennis aesthetic in all-white ensembles.

There’s also typically plenty of floral midi dresses, comfortable footwear, and of course the obligatory hats and sunglasses because it does occasionally get very hot and sunny when you’re sat courtside.
