The trio will travel to Hungary for the competition
Three members of West Lothian Fencing Club have been selected to represent Team GB at an upcoming European competition in Godollo, Hungary.
Speaking to the Courier, 15-year-old Brodie said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have been given the call-up and really excited to be part of Team GB for just a big tournament. Bathgate bairn Guy is the youngest of the West Lothian contingent at 14-years-old. He said: “It’s a huge honour to be selected for Team GB. My mum actually messaged me when I was in school saying I’d made the team and it was amazing.“I’ll probably be one of the youngest fencers there so I’m not going there with any pressure on myself but I obviously want to do well and be happy with how I perform.
