Football Insider has learned that Michail Antonio is happy to stay at West Ham and sign a new contract as long as he is playing regular first-team football.

West Ham could yet move for a new striker in January despite their successful start to the new campaign.He is the all-time record goalscorer for the Irons in the Premier League era, notching 63 goals in 233 appearances in the top flight. The veteran forward, who has also played as a winger and a right wing-back, managed 10 league goals in three consecutive seasons between 2019 and 2022.
His current deal is set to expire in June 2024, but West Ham hold the option to extend his stay a further 12 months. Antonio was the subject of interest in the summer window, with Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq the most keen to sign the 33-year-old.
