Soaring New Spaces
A highlight at security is a massive digital art installation tied to the flight schedule that showcases various destinations. “So every time a Delta flight departs from LaGuardia, new imagery will show up [depicting] the regiom,” says Marzullo. Terminal C will be visually impressive, too, thanks to a partnership with the nearby Queens Museum. The program will feature local artists—either New York-born or New York-based—and the works on display will highlight the city’s immigrant history, its people and its diversity. “Delta is huge on diversity and we are huge on the communities we serve,” says Marzullo. “We really want to showcase the diversity within Delta, the diversity within Queens and the diversity within New York.
