Weeks after being shot by a former SAPD officer, 17-year-old Erik Cantu is continuing recovery at home
The news comes almost eight weeks after
shot the teen multiple times in a McDonald's parking lot leaving Cantu hospitalized in critical condition. Brennand was terminated shortly after the incident.reporting earlier this month that he was awake and alertBrennand has since been charged with two counts of aggravated assault by a public servant, a first-degree felony. He was released from Bexar County jail after posting a bond and is currently awaiting a court date.
