A yellow warning has been issued for strong winds in Preston and across the north this week.
The Met Office yellow warning runs from 10am on Wednesday 27 September to 7am on Thursday 28 September.There’s also a slight chance of damage to buildings, such as tiles being blown from roofs, and power cuts may occur. Longer journey times or cancellations are likely as road, rail, air and ferry services could be affected.
