We tried Lancashire's first ever Dunkin' Donuts and it was like taking a trip to the Big Apple
More and more businesses that you might expect over the pond have been popping up in our humble Lancastrian city. The likes of Krispy Kreme and Five Guys have opened up in Preston in recent years, bringing a bit of the States to the UK.
The décor is in-keeping with the Dunkin' brand, from the wallpaper, chairs, tables and art on the walls. To the right, there's two self-service screens, so you can order your favourite sweet treats and beat the rush of the queues that will inevitably form at the main tills. He couldn't be more right. As we find our bearings in the store and take a look round the site, more and more people attempt to come inside before it opened at 10am.
Joshua is 10-years-old and is excited to go inside the new shop because "he likes doughnuts". He's never tried Dunkin' before, but is a fan of "all" the doughnuts and lucky for him, the brand is well-equipped. On offer, are everything from Original Glazed, to Chocolate Fudge Cake and Rocky Road. Leanne and her son were third in the queue have never been to a Dunkin' branch before, but are hoping to get their hands on a chocolate flavoured treat.
