However, we’re seeing an uptick in the wave activity off the African coast as a new disturbance is closely monitored by the National Hurricane Center . As of the 2 p.m. outlook from the NHC, the central tropical Atlantic disturbance is disorganized but moving WNW at 10-15 mph. NHC believes development is possible this weekend into early next week. There’s a 20% chance of formation through the next seven days.
