The movie centers on Saúl Armendáriz's struggles as a gay lucha libre wrestler, his rise to success after becoming an exótico and taking on the Cassandro persona, and the important people in his life — his mother, a new trainer, friends — who helped build him up to tackle the homophobia and discrimination he faces in and out of the ring.
One of those people is Bad Bunny's Felipe, a drug dealer who's introduced to the wrestler by his new promoter. All the while, Felipe has played it coy with the attention, giving small hints that he might be interested but doesn't pursue in any way his own curiosities. But when Saúl finally decides to make his move , Felipe reciprocates...until he quickly stops Saúl and gently pushes him away.
