Picking up eight months after season 3's battle at Starcourt Mall, which saw Billy sacrifice himself to save Eleven and others from the Mind Flayer, Stranger Things season 4 finds Sadie Sink's Max Mayfield coping with the death of her abusive stepbrother and suffering from PTSD.
Max plays a crucial role throughout Stranger Things season 4 as she soon becomes the last kill Vecna needs to open a series of portals to the Upside Down.
