The 77-year-old Scottish music legend was in attendance at Parkhead on Saturday to watch his beloved side as they came out on top in a 4-2 victory over Dundee United.
They were waiting to greet their heroes after a triumphant victory - but instead were greeted by Sir Rod Stewart helping the clean-up operation.
As stewards began cleaning up from another sold out day at the 60,000 capacity stadium, Stewart was spotted helping out as barricades were put away, before then stopping to sign autographs for those who asked. It was an action-packed day as Sead Haksabanovic's double looked to have been enough, but Tony Watt levelled late on after Steven Fletcher had initially levelled for Dundee United.
Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada netted soon after in the dying embers to ensure Celtic were not shocked on home soil.
