More than 20 unique prizes are up for grabs
A clutch of bright pink Easter eggs have been hidden away in the corners of some of Liverpool's most famous landmarks, ready to be discovered by eagle-eyed passers-by.
The city-wide Easter egg hunt, organised by Sass café on Tithebarn Street, begins today, April 3, and will run until Friday, April 7. Each hidden egg contains a special letter for a prize which can be reclaimed at the café - from Southport Weekender festival tickets to vouchers for free drinks and food at various Liverpool venues.
Sass' co-owner James Daly said: "We’re all about fun and to give back to people, what better way than a big pink Easter egg hunt in the city? Everything we do, we like it to be fun and engaging and a good talking point, and that's why we wanted to do something really fun like this and get everybody involved.
James said: "At the moment we've got over 20 eggs, but that number may increase. We'll likely put out three or four a day. We're offering everything from cash prizes to chocolate Easter eggs to free meals and drinks at Sass. It's going to be a real goodie bag of prizes to be won. "Easter egg hunts are synonymous with Easter, and we really wanted to do something fun for our customers which was also on-brand, and the giant pink Easter eggs just screamed "Sass!" to us. Its been pretty thrilling picking out places to hide them. We can't wait to put the first eggs out and let people know, come and find them.
