People all over the Pacific Northwest have been trying to figure out what fell from the sky Wednesday night. The National Weather Service confirmed it was a meteor.

According to NASA, the Orionids meteor shower will peak on Oct. 21, offering sky-gazers a show that will light up the night sky. NASA says that some of these Orionids can leave behind glowing "trains" which could last up to several minutes, and some faster meteors could also become fireballs.
