Dozens of hooves thundered up and down a grassy field as horseback riders jockeyed their steeds during Saturday’s Fiesta Kings Cup at the San Antonio Polo Club in northern Bexar County.
The event, attended by about 200 people, raised funds to support children’s riding lessons and local youth polo teams, like the Trinity University Polo Team. According to the San Antonio Polo Club, there has been a polo game every year during Fiesta since at least 1902.
