Benjamin Colussi (lwspakmei), the mind behind the movements in Sifu, has crafted a live-action short film with some extra cool fight moves. Check it out exclusively here!
Screen Rant has the honor of exclusively presenting Sifu - The Revenge, a short movie by Benjamin Colussi, whose moves inspired the popular Kung Fu action game Sifu. The brutal, bloody and difficult martial arts brawler comes from the French independent game studio Slocap and has received plenty of praise in both the industry and fandom. Which is no wonder, seeing as Sloclap is the studio that was previously responsible for 2017's beloved martial arts role-playing video game, Absolver.
Benjamin Colussi, meanwhile, is himself a Kung Fu master and the founder of the Lao Wei San - Pak Mei School in Paris. His specialty is the Pak Mei style, which is known as the art of lightning hands. Originating from the legend of the five elders of Shaolin, this style is named after the elder Bak Mei and is sometimes referred to by that name as well.
Fans craving for more glimpses of Benjamin Colussi's martial arts mastery should be sure to check out Sloclap's behind the scenes video on Kung Fu and motion capture. Don't forget to follow Colussi's social media pages as well, where he will not only drop Sifu - The Revenge later, but also continue to promote the preservation of authentic Pak Mei.Sifu is available to play on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
