BREAKING: Warning after 'suspicious' man approached girl, 9, at Preston school
Police have provided an update into their investigation of a man who was seen "acting suspiciously" around a primary school in Preston.
The reports came in on Monday at about 3.10pm as many children would have been leaving school. Preston Police say there was 'no attempt to make physical contact with the girl.' As a result of the incident and concerns raised in the local community, patrols have been increased in the area and around other local schools. Lancashire Constabulary said the investigation is Very much ongoing" and is appealing for anyone with information.
"There was no attempt to make physical contact with the girl. We know that this will be causing some concerns for the community and our officers are carrying out additional patrols in this area and around other local schools.
