'Warm banks' coming to Lancashire as Martin Lewis warns of 'cataclysmic' energy price rises
Lancashire County Council will consider operating “warm banks” to give people a safe place when energy bills soar again in October.

And with a summer-long leadership battle to come, there are fears over whether the Government will be willing or able to act to further mitigate the impact on households.
“Local authorities have a duty to promote and protect the health and well-being of the public, and to prevent avoidable harm.”
