Alexandra Curtis and her lab partner, Riley Vranes, measure the height of a table in Shaunna Garner’s eighth grade science class at Tex Hill Middle School. Garner is helping create a new program at Texas Biomedical Research Institute to connect local middle school and high school science teachers with researchers, and to use their work as a teaching tool.
