New concept art reveals a WandaVision deleted scene featuring Quicksilver star Evan Peters. The hit TV series kicked off the MCU's Phase 4 on Disney+ with a bang, focusing on the relationship between Wanda Maximoff and Vision as they attempt to build a family in a picturesque 1950s town. However, as the series progresses, the darker truth of their idyllic life unravels, revealing Wanda's fabrication of everything around them.
In WandaVision episode 5,"A Very Special Episode...," Peters made a surprise appearance as Wanda's long dead brother Pietro, even though Aaron Taylor-Johnson played the MCU's Quicksilver in the MCU film Avengers: Age of Ultron. Peters portrayed the character Peter Maximoff in Fox's X-Men franchise, beginning with X-Men: Days of Future Past.
According to director Matt Shakman, the original WandaVision deleted Quicksilver scene featured Tommy and Billy leading Darcy, Monica Rambeau , and Ralph down into Agatha's basement to retrieve the Darkhold in an attempt to stop the witch. Before they could reach the book, they are surprised by Agatha's rabbit, Señor Scratchy. At first, the rabbit appears to be harmless - until it transforms into a demon.
The deleted Quicksilver scene would have lengthened Ralph's role in the series finale following Monica freeing him from Agatha's spell. Although the concept art does not include Agatha's demon rabbit or Monica, the image depicts Wanda's twins vanishing from their mother's construct. Their"death" would have happened earlier than what actually occurred in the final episode, where Wanda tucked her boys in bed before collapsing her fabricated reality in on itself.
