Shares of Walmart and Cisco are posting positive momentum Friday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Walmart WMT and Cisco CSCO are contributing to the blue-chip gauge's intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA is trading 108 points, or 0.3%, higher.
Walmart's shares have risen $2.52, or 1.6%, while those of Cisco are up $0.71, or 1.3%, combining for an approximately 21-point boost for the Dow. UnitedHealth UNH, Intel INTC, and Boeing BA are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
