A Walgreens spokesperson told Axios that it is taking the steps "to become a certified pharmacy," becoming the first major pharmacy chain to make such an announcement., some of which restrict the ability to provide abortion pills.
CVS did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment on whether they have decided to seek certification.
