Colman Domingo will also receive a Tribute Performer Award at TIFF. Other the 2023 TIFF Tribute Award honorees include Andy Lau, Carolina Markowicz, Lukasz Zal, Shawn Levy, Pedro Almodovar and Spike Lee. The Toronto Film Festival is set to run from this Thursday through Sept. 17, with the TIFF Tribute Awards — an annual fund-raiser for the festival and a stop on the awards season circuit — set to be handed out on Saturday.
