The vice president is set to appear on Monday at CNN’s “Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom” at the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park.
Vice President Kamala Harris returned to Los Angeles Friday night, June 16.She disembarked and waved at a friendly, cheering crowd.Douglas Emhoff, her husband, made his way along the barricade line greeting the crowd and taking selfies. Harris followed, slowly making her way down the line.But shortly after 7 p.m., Harris and the second gentleman got into their car and headed home.
The event will feature performances including Charlie Wilson, Nelly, Miguel and Mike Phillips, according to the network.
