“I come from a long line of teachers,' Vail High School English teacher Amanda Dunn said. 'Both my grandparents were teachers and my dad as well.”
The nominee for the Arizona Athletics High School Teacher of the Year Award has a family history in the profession.
“I come from a long line of teachers," Dunn said."Both my grandparents were teachers and my dad as well.”“And I probably decided 6th grade, I wanted to be a math teacher,” she said.“I love that every day is completely different," she said. “Being with them all day, learning what they know and helping them reach their full potential.”Whether it's teaching, chess or English, Dunn is dedicated to sharing her love for learning.
