The U.S. Army is considering making changes to certain training after researchers found trauma in Lewiston mass shooter Robert Card II's brain.

The new analysis of Card's brain showed "significant evidence of traumatic brain injuries." Some have attributed this to Card being exposed to thousands of low-level blasts during his years as a grenade instructor with the Army Reserves.Maine mass shooter had a brain injury. Card spent more than 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, helping to train other members in Maine and in New York.In response to those findings, the Army says it's working on ways to better protect soldiers.
