The U.S. government has approved the potential sale of up to $10 billion of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) to Poland, a key NATO ally in Eastern Europe.
The U.S. has granted approval to Poland's potential purchase of an estimated $10 billion worth of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems , which have gained broader public recognition following their provision tolast summer and effectiveness in carrying out precision strikes against Russian forces in the months since.

Aside from Ukraine, several foreign militaries currently field the HIMARS, including Jordan, Romania, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.
Regarding the HIMARS sale to Poland, the DSCA announcement said it will "support the foreign policy goals and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a NATO Ally that is a force for political stability and economic progress in Europe."
