Leeds United would be a perfect fit for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, according to Ross McCormack
Leeds United should sign unsettled Glasgow Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara who would 'lead by example' at Elland Road, according to Ross McCormack. Ex-Whites and Rangers forward McCormack believes Finland international Kamara would be a huge asset in the Championship for Leeds, and for youngsters such as teenager Archie Gray his experience would be 'invaluable'.
Kamara looks set to leave Ibrox this summer with the 27-year-old having become a fringe figure under Michael Beale at Rangers. Leeds are one of the sides that have been linked with him and McCormack reckons he would be a steadying influence for the Whites, where new boss Daniel Farke has taken over a difficult situation following the club's relegation.
"Every single game Glen plays he's at least a 7.5 out of 10, he doesn't give the ball away and he'd give them [Leeds] great stability," McCormack told the Daily Mail. "Leeds have a great young talent in Archie Gray and he'd benefit from having someone like Glen alongside him.
"I feel sorry for Farke as he has inherited the situation. That's where someone like Glen would be a great addition for him. He'd have a steadying influence, a good pro that could lead by example and help keep everyone together." Kamara cost Rangers a bargain £50,000 from Dundee four years ago, and the Scottish giants would make a hefty profit on him if he moves on for the £5m fee that has been mooted.
