Women experiencing menopause will benefit from newly launched support.
October is menopause awareness month and Watford Borough Council has marked it by announcing a free booklet with advice and information, created alongside Menopause Support., the book seeks to address misunderstandings and confusion about what to expect, how to manage physical and mental changes, and where to look for the right support.
“Women experiencing perimenopause and menopause should not have to suffer in silence. We urge women across the UK to read the guidance and speak to your GP armed with the completed symptom checker.The booklets are being distributed through community networks, schools, GP surgeries, community centres, Watford Women’s Centre, and Watford Football Club .
