Cash donations are being collected for Ukraine war victims at Ukrainian immigrant Daria Nadar’s Oh My Cake bakery, which shares space with Pappalecco in Hillcrest.San Diego pastry chef Daria Nadar has been putting her time and talents to work over the past week to raise cash donations for a special war fund at the Bank of Ukraine.
Many customers have come into the shop at Fifth and Pennsylvania Avenues with handfuls of cash to donate to the cause, so the employees have put a large glass vase on the counter to collect the money.
