Kremlin says Kim Jong Un's trip to Russia will be a 'full scale visit'

Intelligence released by the Foreign Office shows that the Russian military targeted a cargo ship with multiple missiles on 24 August. "We do expect some type of meeting [and] based on the information we've been provided, KJU is travelling to Russia," Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder told reporters.

The platforms, named by military intelligence as"Petro Godovalets","Ukraina","Tavrida" and"Syvash" were returned to Ukraine after what it described as a"unique [military] operation". 16:49:11Rishi Sunak has told the Commons that declassified intelligence reveals that Russia targeted a civilian cargo ship in the Black Sea on 24 August.Mr Sunak was updating MPs after his trip to the G20 summit in Delhi last week.

Mr Sunak added that for two years now, Vladimir Putin has"lacked the courage to face this G20 peers". Vladivostok is just 130km from Russia's border with North Korea, and was the site of Mr Kim's only known previous visit to the country in 2019 - after the collapse of North Korea's nuclear disarmament talks with former US President Donald Trump.
