UHP troopers are looking for a driver who fled the scene of a crash on I-215 Saturday evening.
Utah Highway Patrol said troopers were investigating an accident that occurred around 6 p.m. on southbound I-215 near 3500 South.
Two cars were involved, and UHP said nobody was injured. However, the driver who caused the crash reportedly fled the scene. Troopers were still looking for the suspect as of 7:30 p.m. UHP Troopers are investigating an accident in the area of I-215 E at 3500 South, southbound. Troopers are looking for an individual that fled the scene. Avoid the area if possible. The investigation could last at least an hour. Utah Department of Transportation said two right lanes were closed. UDOT traffic cameras also appeared to show the exit at 3900 South closed with several patrol cars on the off-ramp.
