The shooting happened in the school’s parking lot around 3 p.m. after some type of altercation between two groups of teenagers.
“There’s no reason to believe that anyone at the school is in danger,” said Yakima Police Chief Matt Murray. “There are two suspects at large – there is a large police presence and effort to capture them, and we have good leads of where they might be.”
A 16-year-old is in critical condition, and an 18-year-old is in serious condition, according to Murray.This is a developing story.
