BREAKING: Hampshire Police have launched a manhunt after two men in a black Volkswagen attempted to kidnap two boys aged 12 and 13.
A manhunt has been launched after the attempted kidnapping of two boys.
Two men in a black Volkswagen are said to have approached the children on Great Binfields Road, Lychpit, in Basingstoke, offering them money to get in the car.Fortunately, the children, aged 12 and 13, ran to a nearby supermarket as the car quickly sped off.They are urging anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch with them.
A statement from the force said: ‘We are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempted kidnapping incident on Great Binfields Road, Lychpit. ‘It was reported that at around 5.44pm yesterday, two men in a black Volkswagen approached two boys, aged 12 and 13m and offered them money to get in the vehicle.
