Two charged over 'sophisticated' cannabis farm
The pair were charged with a number of offences after specialist PSNI officers searched the facility in Co Down.
Police have released few details about the ‘farm’, however it is expected that more may emerge when the pair appear in court on Monday morning. In a brief statement issued on Sunday morning, a PSNI spokesman said: “Two men, aged 35 and 39, have been charged following the discovery of a large cannabis farm in the County Down area.
“Both men have been charged with a number of offences including cultivating cannabis and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply. They are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday 6th February.
