Director Domee Shi and producer Lindsey Collins have expressed interest in making a sequel to Pixar's latest release TurningRed. 'I was always like, 'I'd go hang out with those characters again.' I want to see what they're up to. So, yeah. Who knows?'
Turning Red 2 has been discussed by the director of Pixar's latest film Domee Shi and its producer, Lindsey Collins. The film tells the story of a young girl dealing with puberty along with the added wrinkle of transforming into a red panda whenever she gets excited. After originally being set for a theatrical release , Disney opted to release Turning Red on Disney+ for free instead.
Domee Shi: We are open, but we haven't talked about it. But yeah, it's an invitation at the end for more stories.
