“Some neighborhoods have been really wet, and we have received almost half a foot of rain, and some spots even more than that.”, said Simma. We will be dry until about 3-4 pm in Jacksonville. Showers and storms will develop to the west and head east this afternoon. Showers and storms will likely arrive at I-75 by 2 pm . Heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and frequent lightning are the primary threats.We’ll be tracking a cold front nearby on Tuesday. However, temperatures will still make it to the upper 80s in the afternoon. A few afternoon storms will develop as well.We are tracking two tropical waves in the Atlantic basin right now.
Tracking a somewhat drier weather pattern for the week, following a soaking weekend. Thursday’s rain totals through Sunday:
