As searches continued, onlookers gathered awaiting information about survivors.

Omer Faruk runs a restaurant in Konya, central turkey. He said on Friday:"We are providing food to our citizens who are suffering due to the earthquake. Another volunteer Sardar Kayak said they were feeding around 1,000 people a day at the stadium, as well as many more in villages nearby.
