Another season, another controversy about baseballs.
One theory? The fact that for the first time, humidors have been installed in every ballpark this season. MLB teams averaged 4.0 runs per game in April, the lowest average for a month since 1981. The leaguewide batting average of .231 was the lowest through April in big-league history, according to ESPN.
