Trumpet legend Herb Alpert back on the road at 87 with a San Antonio concert set for June 7
Musician Herb Alpert is hitting the road for his first tour since the start of the pandemic. The tour includes a stop at San Antonio’s Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.Trumpeter Herb Alpert stayed busy for the past two years — he painted, sculpted and did some recording in his home studio — but not being able to perform live was tough.
“I’m looking forward to it,” Alpert said. “I missed doing that. I know I can make a certain amount of people happy with the music I make. It’s a good feeling.”
