WASHINGTON—President Trump on Monday took a swipe at departing U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May over her handling of Brexit, while declaring that the U.S. would “no longer deal with” the British ambassador, who was critical of Mr. Trump.
“What a mess she and her representatives have created,” Mr. Trump tweeted of Mrs. May. “I told her how it should be done, but she decided to go another way.” He added: “While I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent State Visit last month, it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!”
