Trump’s late night posts on his social media app comes after the Justice Department moved to unseal copies of the warrant connected to the raid at Mar-a-Lago.
Trump made his position clear in a statement posted to his social media app Truth Social, where he encouraged the “immediate release” of the documents while slamming the “political weaponization of law enforcement” days after FBI agents rummaged through Mar-a-Lago.
“I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents, even though they have been drawn up by radical left Democrats and possible future political opponents, who have a strong and powerful vested interest in attacking me, much as they have done for the last 6 years.”AP
