Muhammad picked to third team
Troy's Christyon Eugene was chosen first-team All-Sun Belt Conference in the preseason by league coaches. Troy is picked to finish eighth in the Sun Belt Conference in men’s basketball this season, according to voting by league coaches released Monday.
Also announced Monday were the preseason All-Sun Belt teams, with Troy guard Christyon Eugene chosen to the first team and guard Aamer Muhammad picked for the third team. Eugene, a senior from Spring, Texas, averaged 12.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists last season.
