Tributes for a "kind-hearted" man have been paid after a woman was charged with his murder. Rees Howarth, 28, died after being found in a critical condition after an alleged domestic disturbance in Hyde, Greater Manchester, on Sunday, April 23.
Yeomans will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today, while a 19-year-old woman, who was previously arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released with police confirming no further action will be taken. In a statement issued through GMP, DCI Mark Davis of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: "Our thoughts are of course with the victim’s family and we will continue to support them at this extremely difficult time. Again, I would like to reassure the public that this is an is an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public and we would please ask that members of the public not to speculate on this investigation.
"I would like to continue to appeal to members of the public for any information from anyone who may know more about this incident to please come forward and speak to GMP.
