Devastated friends of Ben Hood are raising money to create a permanent memory of him at his 'happy place' Ibrox Stadium following his sudden death over the weekend.
Friends of a Glasgow man who took his own life are raising money to create a memorial for him at Ibrox Stadium.The avid Rangers fan has been remembered as a 'caring and intelligent' young man who was known for always helping others. Following his death, friends have started a fundraising page to honour his 'selfless legacy' and donate money to charity on his behalf as well as creating a permanent memorial for him at his 'happy place'.
Ben's partner Maxine said he had been a "massive advocate for mental health". She shared: "As you all will know, Ben absolutely adored Rangers Football Club and was a massive advocate for mental health. "No matter if we haven’t spoken for months or years, I will always be a message away for anyone who is struggling. Please don’t do this alone. Forever in my heart, Ben."
One pal said: "Ben you will be truly missed. You always had a smile on your face and never let anyone pass by without saying hello."
