Liam Walsh, 23, was struck by a Vauxhall Corsa and sent flying over its roof
A mum has paid a heartbreaking tribute to her son after he was killed whilst trying to hail down a taxi after a night out.
Davies, of Deepdale in Widnes, was handed a 10-month suspended sentence on Tuesday having previously pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving, the ECHO reports. "My boy will never marry, move into his first home or have children. It breaks our hearts that he will not get to see his niece and nephews grow up. I never said goodbye to Liam. His beautiful life has been taken."
She added: "We are living a life sentence now and grieve everyday until I see that beautiful smile again. I hope today we can get justice for you. For now, goodnight my boy." Kelsey said they soon became "inseparable." She said: "We were always together. We'd be on the phone from first thing in the morning until last thing at night. We'd FaceTime each other and fall asleep on FaceTime."
She said: "My mum and dad gained a son and my siblings gained a brother. They all loved him and he loved them. He became part of the family."
